Growing a new farmer’s market has its challenges! But come Rain or Shine, Healthy Markets is here in Anne Arundel County Maryland to serve you! Healthy Markets, with its partner the Baltimore Washington Medical Center, opened this Spring, in May 2012 with the idea of bringing “Healthy Foods and a Healthier Lifestyle Closer to you!” And that is just what we have done!!! Customer feedback has been great! And, although the rains last weekend put a “damper” on things…..our customers came out to support us! Many who stopped by were excited that a Farmer’s Market has come to the Glen Burnie area and mentioned that prior to the opening of Healthy Markets Farmer’s Market, the closest fresh farm produce and meats were a long drive away in Annapolis!!
We at Healthy Markets appreciate your support and are working hard to make our market better! Our next market date will be Saturday, August 4, 2012 and also in August we plan to go to a weekly market schedule! Yes, our fresh farm eggs, meats, vegetables, fruits and herbs will be available on a weekly basis! At our current location we are moving closer to the street to increase our visability and we are planning to add several value added producers with handmade items including soaps, jewelry and other things!
